Mumbai Crime Branch Investigates Conspiracy in Baba Siddique Murder Case

In a significant breakthrough in the Baba Siddique murder case, the Mumbai Crime Branch has secured custody of Amit Hisamsing Kumar until November 4. Kumar confessed to being aware of the murder conspiracy, with Zeeshan Akhtar instructing him to withdraw and transfer money, according to the police.
A 29-year-old resident of Haryana's Kaithal district, Kumar has been implicated in cases under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act. His arrest on Wednesday marks the eleventh in connection to the murder of the NCP leader, the Mumbai Crime Branch disclosed.
Authorities revealed that the shooters involved in Siddique's assassination conducted multiple practice sessions, firing rounds in a secluded area before executing the attack. Siddique was grievously injured outside his Nirmal Nagar office and succumbed to his wounds at Lilavati Hospital on October 12.
