In a tragic incident on Tuesday morning, a resident of the Jat Khor area in Delhi was declared dead upon arrival at a hospital following an accident in Aman Vihar. The local police were alerted by hospital authorities, prompting immediate action from the police control room to initiate an enquiry.
The victim has been identified as Jai Prakash, aged 58, who was serving as an Assistant Sub-Inspector in the Delhi police's traffic unit, stationed in the Lajpat Nagar circle. Investigators are currently seeking to determine the precise circumstances surrounding his sudden death.
This unfortunate incident comes on the heels of another accident on the Yamuna Expressway earlier, where three individuals lost their lives and two others sustained critical injuries. The victims were in transit from Varanasi to Delhi when their vehicle collided with another car, according to ANI reports.
