Jammu and Kashmir's Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary voiced a robust condemnation of the Gagangir terror attack, deeming it beyond words. While seeking solace from the divine for grieving families, he assured improvements in the situation, with ongoing investigations led by the state's DGP to bring perpetrators to justice.

Minister Satish Sharma echoed the Deputy Chief Minister's sentiments, affirming the strength of Indian paramilitary forces to respond aptly to such threats. He noted that the attack followed the successful election processes in the region, highlighting the need for vigilance against both local and international terror influences.

In a coordinated response, security forces have cordoned off Gagangir in Sonamarg, launching operations to neutralize the attackers after two laborers were killed in the Ganderbal district. This action aims to restore security and stability following the attack on key infrastructure project workers.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha condemned the attack via his official channels, promising unyielding action against the assailants. He reassured the community of the power granted to local and national security forces to pursue the case unrelentingly.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah labeled the attack 'dastardly and cowardly,' urging solidarity with the victims' families. Similarly, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi condemned the attack, calling it a crime against humanity and urging nationwide unity against terrorism, extending condolences and prayers for the injured.
