Tragedy Strikes: Three Young Lives Lost in Mahananda River

In a tragic incident in West Bengal's Malda district, three teenage boys drowned in the Mahananda river on Sunday, police have confirmed.
The unfortunate event occurred at Tekna ghat under the Pukhuria police station area when three cousins went swimming in the river. Identified as Biswajit Chowdhury, Aditya Chowdhury, and Satyajit Chowdhury, the victims hailed from Magura village.
Despite their friends returning home early, the three boys continued swimming. Concern arose when they did not return home, prompting a search that led to the discovery of their bodies later in the afternoon. The entire community is now in mourning following the loss of these young lives.
