Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital for a comprehensive health assessment, according to his son Aaditya Thackeray.
On social media platform X, Aaditya assured well-wishers that Uddhav was in good health and eager to resume public service.
In the political arena, Uddhav Thackeray announced that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will disclose its chief ministerial candidate after Mahayuti. He criticized the BJP, remarking on their reliance on controversial figures.
As assembly elections loom, the MVA accused the ruling coalition of betraying Maharashtra's trust through a booklet, 'Gaddarancha Panchnama'.
The upcoming elections will pit the MVA alliance, which includes Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), and Congress, against the Maha Yuti Alliance, featuring the BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction).
