Haas-Toyota Partnership Boosts Ferrari Collaboration in F1
Haas F1 team has entered a technical partnership with Toyota to enhance its existing collaboration with Ferrari. The partnership includes simulator access and aims at mutual benefits without replacing Ferrari's foundational support. Haas plans expansion and resource enhancement with Toyota's help, while maintaining transparency with Ferrari.
In a strategic move aimed at bolstering their Formula One operations, the Haas F1 team has forged a new technical partnership with Toyota, announced team boss Ayao Komatsu.
This alliance is not intended to supplant Haas's existing collaboration with Ferrari but rather to fortify it, with Haas continuing to rely on Ferrari engines, gearboxes, and various facilities while gaining additional resources and expertise from Toyota.
The agreement, which includes simulator use and benefits for young Japanese drivers, underscores Haas's commitment to strengthening its midfield position, all while maintaining clarity and trust with Ferrari's management.
