BJP leader Shaina NC expressed condolences over the passing of renowned industrialist Ratan Tata, hailing him as a gem of India. In her statement to ANI, she highlighted three lesser-known qualities of Tata: his simplicity, generosity, and compassion for animals, calling him a "complete man" for embodying these virtues.
Recalling a personal memory, Shaina NC shared how Tata would often send his driver home during dinner visits, showcasing his thoughtfulness towards others' family time. Actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan echoed the sentiment, admiring Tata's strong character and vision, stating he epitomized honesty and tenacity, crucial traits for success.
The Maharashtra Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, passed a resolution to urge the Centre for awarding Bharat Ratna posthumously to Tata. The Cabinet also observed a minute's silence and passed a condolence resolution. Tata's passing is marked by a day of official mourning, with state honors for his funeral.
