Ratan Tata, the esteemed industrialist and former Chairman of Tata Sons, has passed away at the age of 86 in Mumbai. Revered across the nation, his passing was met with an outpouring of tributes from figures such as Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das. Describing him as a 'true visionary' and a 'champion of ethical corporate governance,' Das highlighted Tata's indelible impact on India's economic history.

Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla also paid respects, calling it a 'great loss for the country'. He emphasized Tata's unprecedented contributions, noting his modesty and dedication to the nation's advancement. Echoing these sentiments, entrepreneur Ananya Birla expressed her desire to carry forward Tata's legacy through hard work and dedication.

The Maharashtra Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, passed a resolution urging the Centre to award Tata the Bharat Ratna in recognition of his vast achievements. As a mark of respect, the state declared a day of mourning. Tributes also arrived from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, both acknowledging Tata's national and global acclaim. Ratan Tata's final journey will include state honors, a fitting tribute to one of India's most respected and visionary businessmen.
