On Wednesday, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva launched a sharp critique against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of unlawfully allocating the Delhi CM's residence to Atishi, a member of the party.

Sachdeva condemned the act as unconstitutional, highlighting that the residence, dubbed 'Sheesh Mahal,' had not received proper approval or certification. Allegations of staged dramatics by AAP surfaced, with accusations that the party improperly attempted to furnish the bungalow to Atishi, already designated a separate residence. Suspicion lingered over secretive activities within the premises, as Sachdeva alleged illicit practices of tree felling and unauthorized construction were carried out, funded by citizens' taxes.

Demands for a public release of all information concerning the property followed, as Sachdeva insisted on an investigation to unveil the truth behind the bungalow's allocation. Meanwhile, AAP refuted the claims, arguing political manipulation as the reason behind removing Atishi's belongings. They alleged coercion by Delhi's Lieutenant Governor, possibly aiming to benefit a BJP leader, while also denying any wrongdoing in the villa's occupancy.
