Uttarakhand Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar conducted a high-level meeting with senior police officers to discuss preparations for the anticipated visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The discussions were held in the auditorium of the state police headquarters.

The meeting primarily focused on reviewing security, traffic, and parking plans essential for the Home Minister's itinerary. In light of prevailing security concerns, officers were instructed to remain vigilant and ensure that arrangements cause minimal public disruption. DGP Kumar emphasized the importance of timely completion of all security measures.

Additionally, the police were directed to finalize plans for the Home Minister's review meetings promptly, alongside conducting necessary briefings and rehearsals. Shah's visit will include stops in Uttarkashi and Dehradun districts.
