The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is closing in on a historic third consecutive win in the Haryana assembly elections, with party faithfuls acknowledging the pivotal role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took to social media, expressing his congratulations to the dedicated party workforce who supported this significant achievement.
Dhami lauded the leadership and said, "This massive victory marks the public's trust in the double engine governance model over the past decade under both Modi's and Haryana CM Nayab Saini's energetic leadership." Meanwhile, CM Nayab Singh Saini offered prayers at the Jyotisar temple in Kurukshetra, having also won his Ladwa Assembly seat with a substantial margin of 16,054 votes.
Elsewhere in the country, jubilation was in full swing, with Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma preparing traditional sweets and Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis joining party workers for celebrations in Mumbai. At the BJP headquarters in Delhi, fireworks lighted the sky as the party awaited a speech from PM Modi. The Election Commission's latest update showed BJP candidates ahead in 48 out of 90 seats, opposed to Congress, who are leading in 36.
