In the ongoing Haryana assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is emerging as a dominant force, with party MP Manoj Tiwari asserting that grassroots sentiments deviate significantly from media narratives predicting Congress success. Tiwari, a key campaigner, credits the BJP's lead to public recognition of the party's work.
With the BJP winning 27 seats and leading in 23, Tiwari emphasizes respect for voters over pride in this achievement. Meanwhile, Congress's Vinesh Phogat clinched victory in Julana Assembly Constituency, defeating the BJP's Yogesh Kumar by 5,761 votes. This win was celebrated by Congress member and wrestler Bajrang Punia on social media, highlighting it as a triumph over oppressive forces.
Simultaneously, Congress's Jairam Ramesh questioned delays in election result updates on the Election Commission's website. The ECI refuted these allegations, citing a lack of evidence for delays in Haryana or J&K constituencies and reiterated the procedure's transparency as per legal standards.
