In a significant development in Chhattisgarh's Bastar region, at least seven Naxals have been killed during an encounter with security forces on Friday.
The operation, which took place in the dense Abhujmaad forest along the Narayanpur and Dantewada border, led to the discovery of a significant cache of weapons, including AK-47s and SLRs. IG Bastar, P Sundarraj, confirmed the occurrence of the encounter.
