PM Modi Unveils PM-KISAN's 18th Instalment: A Boost for Indian Farmers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release Rs 20,000 crore under the PM-KISAN scheme, benefiting over 9.4 crore farmers. The initiative, launched in 2019, aims to support landholding farmers with Rs 6,000 annually. Modi will also introduce new agricultural technologies and celebrate PM-KISAN Utsav Divas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to disburse Rs 20,000 crore as part of the 18th instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme on Saturday, offering financial support to more than 9.4 crore farmers nationwide.
The distribution, facilitated via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), will be conducted during a ceremony in Washim, Maharashtra. Maharashtra's agricultural sector will gain an additional Rs 2,000 crore through the state's Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana.
Moreover, Modi will introduce novel technologies including an indigenous sex-sorted semen production process and a Unified Genomic Chip for livestock. Simultaneously, five new solar parks will be inaugurated under the MSKVY 2.0 scheme, and the establishment of 9,200 Farmer Producers Organisations will be announced. Celebrations will be marked nationwide as PM-KISAN Utsav Divas, with significant participation from farmers across the country.
