On Friday, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Construction Committee, chaired by Nripendra Mishra, convened for its second day of discussions in Ayodhya. Amid significant developments, the committee reviewed the commencement of the Shikhar's construction, marking a notable advancement in the project's timeline.

Speaking to the press, Mishra elaborated on the previous day's discussions, highlighting the immense technical challenges involved in constructing the Shikhar. He emphasized that prominent agencies such as Larsen Toubro, TCE, and CRBI are integral to the project's success, with rigorous investigations planned for each construction phase. Concurrently, he announced the phased handover of small projects, including substations and treatment plants, to the trust for ongoing maintenance and operations.

Despite the notable progress, Mishra noted that the project faced a two to three-month delay, resulting in a revised completion date of July 2025. He reassured that, barring unforeseen circumstances, the majority of agencies would conclude their work by then. The temple, showcasing traditional Nagara architecture, will feature 392 pillars and 44 doors, with the sanctum housing the idol of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
