The Indian Air Force (IAF) has set an ambitious goal to have its entire inventory manufactured within India by the year 2047, according to Air Chief Marshal AP Singh.
During a press briefing ahead of Air Force Day, Chief of Air Staff Singh noted China's rapid infrastructure rise along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Ladakh sector, revealing India's efforts to match these developments.
Highlighting geopolitical tensions, Singh emphasized the necessity of indigenous weapon systems to address future security concerns. He also confirmed that three S-400 missile units from Russia have been delivered, with two more expected by next year.
