At the recent Climate Summit 2, held by Arya.ag, experts pressed the necessity of merging modern technology with traditional knowledge to create a sustainable agricultural future.

Raman Wadhwa, Director of the Ministry of Rural Development's DAY-NRLM programme, laid out five crucial elements for success, including government support and corporate collaborations. He highlighted the pivotal role of farmer producer organisations in fostering climate resilience.

Hari Natarajan, from Action for Climate and Environment, cautioned against urging farmers into new practices without risk protection. He cited a failed bio-diesel crop project in Maharashtra that hurt farmers' incomes and soil health, stressing the need for technological solutions that genuinely benefit farmers.
