Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is poised to grace Tirumala on Friday for the annual Brahmotsavam festival, a revered event marked by the offering of Pattu vastras by the state government, according to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) officials. The TTD Executive Officer confirmed Naidu's participation in Pedda Sesha Vahanam Seva and detailed his plan to inaugurate the Vakula Mata Central Kitchen on Saturday, catering to an estimated 1.1 lakh devotees.

In a briefing on the festival logistics, TTD officials outlined the nine-day festival schedule, running from October 4 to October 12, featuring twice-daily Vahana Sevas processions. A peak day, October 8, will witness Garuda Vahana Seva, drawing an expected 3.5 lakh pilgrims. To ensure smooth proceedings, extensive measures are in place to manage the influx, with amenities such as food, water, child-specific provisions, and accommodations guaranteed by TTD for Lord Sri Venkateswara's devotees.

On the bustling Garuda Vahana Seva day, VIP accommodations are restricted except for those partaking in the seva without referrals. TTD plans to distribute 1.32 lakh Senior Citizen Darshan tokens and 24,000 Sarva Darshanam tokens each day, alongside a resourceful buffer stock of seven lakh laddus dispensed via 65 counters. Accommodation provisions include room and locker facilities for about 60,000 devotees. Medical setups are fortified with healthcare professionals on standby across key hospitals, with a robust security framework involving 1,250 TTD vigilance staff and 3,800 police officers to ensure safety, particularly during the Garuda Vahana Seva. Additionally, enhanced transport solutions from APSRTC and strategic parking allocations are in place to facilitate visitor movement during the festival's peak attributes.
