The Reserve Bank of India's newly revamped Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), featuring three freshly appointed external members, is poised to hold its inaugural session this Monday.

The conclusions of the three-day deliberation will be announced by MPC Chairman and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on Wednesday, October 9.

Analysts widely predict that the MPC will maintain the existing interest rate, continuing an unbroken streak of rate stability since the last adjustment in February 2023, which left the rate at 6.5%.
