Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla extolled Indian youth as key agents of change, highlighting their contributions to national and global development through hard work and innovation. Speaking at the New Delhi Institute of Management in Tughlakabad on Tuesday, Birla stressed the increasing significance of young Indians in various sectors.
Birla pointed out that the demographic dynamics of developed countries present a unique advantage for Indian youth to excel internationally. He encouraged students to dedicate themselves to their studies and innovations, aiming to make impactful contributions to India's growth and self-reliance. Birla also invoked the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and the role of youth in the Indian Independence movement, urging students to work towards national development.
Emphasizing that New India is shaping the global agenda, Birla called for collective efforts to transform India into a developed nation by 2047. He also awarded certificates and honors to outstanding students and achievers from the Institute. Member of Parliament Ramvir Singh Bidhuri attended the event. (ANI)
