Six people were killed and six injured when Russian forces attacked Kherson, Ukraine. The strike hit a central bus stop and market at 9 a.m. In Zaporizhzhia, one person was killed and six injured by aerial bombs. Russia denies targeting civilians.
Regional authorities reported that six people were killed when Russian forces struck the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson on Tuesday morning.
Prosecutors indicated that another six people were wounded in the artillery strike that hit a central bus stop around 9 a.m. Governor Oleksandr Prokudin stated that the strike also targeted a central market where residents were shopping.
In southeastern Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, one person was killed and six were wounded after Russia attacked residential buildings and infrastructure with aerial bombs, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov. Despite Russia's regular attacks on towns and cities behind the front lines, they have denied targeting civilians.
