Customs Officials Nab Smuggler with 26 iPhone 16 Pro Max at Delhi Airport
A woman traveling from Hong Kong to Delhi was arrested for smuggling 26 iPhone 16 Pro Max phones hidden in her vanity bag. Customs officials at IGI Airport made the arrest based on intelligence input. Further investigations are ongoing, with recent arrests for gold smuggling also reported.

Customs officials at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi intercepted a woman traveling from Hong Kong to Delhi on Tuesday for smuggling 26 iPhone 16 Pro Max devices. The devices were concealed in her vanity bag, according to the customs department.
The arrest followed specific intelligence input received by the Customs Department. Officials stated, "Based on intelligence, Delhi Airport Customs intercepted a lady passenger traveling from Hong Kong to Delhi carrying 26 iPhone 16 Pro Max concealed inside her vanity bag wrapped in tissue paper."
Further investigation is underway. On Monday, another passenger traveling from Dammam to Delhi was caught concealing two gold bars inside the battery compartment of his mobile phone. In a separate operation on September 28, Customs at IGI Airport seized 2,739 grams of gold from seven Uzbek passengers, including a juvenile, traveling from Almaty. Six were arrested under the Customs Act, 1962, and the juvenile was apprehended under the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015.
