A 17-year-old student from a junior college in Pune's Baramati city was allegedly killed by two classmates, both 17, on the premises of TC College of Arts, Commerce, and Science around 11:30 am Monday.

The victim, identified as a Science stream student, was attacked by one suspect from the Science stream and another from the Commerce stream. Initial reports suggest the altercation arose from an earlier dispute involving their motorcycles brushing against each other.

According to a Baramati police officer, "We are verifying the details and investigating the incident from all angles." One suspect has been detained, while a search operation for the other is ongoing. CCTV footage shows one minor attacking with a knife and the other with a sickle.

Following the attack, the suspects fled the chaotic scene. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
