Teenage Tragedy: Argument Over Dinner Leads to Suicide
A 16-year-old girl in Gopiganj ended her life by jumping into a well following a dispute with her mother over dinner. The incident was discovered the next morning when her mother found her missing, and her body was later retrieved by divers and firefighters.

A 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well in Gopiganj following an argument with her mother about cooking dinner, police said on Monday.
Gopiganj SHO Santosh Kumar Singh reported that Komal Bind, a class 11 student, had a disagreement with her mother, Somnath Bind, before going to sleep. When her mother couldn't find her the next morning, the family found her footwear near a well, approximately 400 meters from their home.
Authorities retrieved her body from the well with the assistance of divers and firefighters, and it has been sent for post-mortem examination, the SHO added.
