Chief Minister Manik Saha will attend a state-level seminar hosted by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs on Monday. The event, held at the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala, Tripura, aims to create awareness about consumer rights. This initiative will see the launch of 100 selected schools and 18 colleges and universities throughout the state, forming consumer clubs to educate students about their rights as consumers and encourage responsible consumption, empowering the youth to tackle consumer-related issues in their communities.

This seminar is a key part of the government's comprehensive plan to enhance consumer protection measures in Tripura. It aims to bring together policymakers, legal professionals, educators, and students to facilitate in-depth discussions on bolstering consumer rights and knowledge in the region. Alongside the seminar, the establishment of consumer clubs highlights the government's dedication to cultivating an informed and empowered consumer community, essential for effectively addressing consumer concerns.

Dignitaries including Sushanta Chaudhary, Minister of Food & Civil Supply, and Dipak Majumder, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, along with other officials, will be present. Students from various schools and colleges will also participate, marking a significant step forward in consumer rights advocacy in Tripura. Previously, CM Saha organized various initiatives and programs for the state's welfare.

CM Saha was also involved in a blood donation camp organized to celebrate PM Modi's birthday by the Bharatiya Janata Party Mandal Committee of Banamalipur at the Nazrul Kalakshetra Auditorium. He praised PM Modi's initiatives for enhancing healthcare, education, and infrastructure and urged attendees to support these programs to drive regional progress.
