Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav intensified his criticism of Congress and its allies ahead of his visit to Jharkhand, attributing the state's struggles to their "misgovernance." Yadav plans to take part in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Parivartan Yatra in the state.
Yadav told ANI, "Today, I will participate in BJP's Parivartan Yatra in Jharkhand. Six Parivartan Yatras were started in the state, which would conclude today. I am satisfied that the BJP successfully highlighted how the state's Chief Minister, due to his misgovernance, had to go to jail. What can be more unfortunate?"
Yadav recalled that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had envisioned Jharkhand's transformation. He lamented that despite the state's resources, it failed to become the top state due to Congress's approach. Yadav expressed hope that Jharkhand's people would support BJP, highlighting the central government's efforts under PM Narendra Modi. He mentioned the looming elections, urging all to adopt the concept of 'Sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, sabka prayaas.' He asserted BJP's forthcoming victory in Jharkhand.
Jharkhand anticipates legislative assembly elections by December 2024, with the current government's tenure ending in January 2025. The Election Commission has not yet announced the schedule.
