BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal criticized Delhi Chief Minister Atishi's vow to repair the city's roads, questioning the timing as politically motivated with Assembly elections on the horizon. Khandelwal claimed that AAP had failed to address infrastructure issues over the past decade and was only now making promises to garner votes.

Khandelwal pointed to AAP's inaction during water shortages and sewer problems, accusing them of 'shedding crocodile tears.' He warned that Delhi residents are aware of the situation and will respond accordingly at the polls.

Echoing these concerns, Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi requested updates on road maintenance from the MCD commissioner and began night cleaning shifts in Chandni Chowk. Meanwhile, Atishi and other AAP leaders, including former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, announced responsibilities across various districts, pledging to repair 1400 km of roads before Diwali under Arvind Kejriwal's guidance.
