Assam Rifles marked the Foundation Day of the Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home with enthusiastic celebrations, honoring the tireless work done for underprivileged children. The event, attended by Maj Gen Manish Kumar, highlighted the steadfast commitment of Assam Rifles to societal welfare and helping marginalized communities.

The organization distributed books, clothing, monetary aid, essential food supplies, and utility items to support the children's education and basic needs. Maj Gen Kumar emphasized the importance of community support in nurturing these young lives during his address.

The day's activities reinforced Assam Rifles' commitment to securing a better future for Kohima's children. Additionally, the organization conducted a medical camp in Ruchan, providing vital health services to 150 patients, and a cleanliness drive in collaboration with KMC under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, engaging local leaders and residents in community-building efforts.
