In a fierce tirade against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu over the Tirupati Laddu Prasadam controversy, former CM and YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy stated on Friday that "the demon rule is continuing in the state." Reddy claimed that Naidu's government is attempting to obstruct his upcoming visit to the Tirumala temple.

Reddy accused CM Naidu of "blatantly lying" about the Tirupati Laddu Prasadam, emphasizing that the ghee procurement e-tender is a routine process conducted every six months for decades. He asserted that Naidu's comments about animal fat in the laddus are unfounded and aimed at shifting the political focus.

Reddy highlighted that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board has a robust mechanism for quality control, including NABL certification for tankers. He cited multiple instances of ghee being rejected during both Naidu's and his own administration. Reddy dismissed Naidu's allegations as political maneuvering.

Hitting back, TDP National Spokesperson Komma Reddy Pattabhiram labeled Reddy 'anti-Hindu' for refusing to sign a declaration required to have a darshan of Lord Balaji, a practice in place for over three decades. The controversy erupted following Naidu's claims of substandard ingredients, including animal fat, being used in the laddus during the previous YSRCP government.
