The Delhi Government has appointed Ram Naresh Singh and Surendra Babbar as pro-tem members of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC). Chief Minister Atishi administered the oath of office and secrecy to both members on Thursday.

Expressing her congratulations, Atishi stated, "Their experience and expertise will be invaluable in strengthening Delhi's power sector. Wishing them both success in this important role." This appointment follows their shortlisting by a Supreme Court-appointed panel.

Atishi further highlighted the Delhi Government's continual efforts over the past decade to improve the power sector, emphasizing the commitment to providing 24x7 electricity to residents. She mentioned that the new pro-tem members will play a crucial role in enhancing Delhi's power infrastructure.
