In response to the Shajapur firing incident, Madhya Pradesh BJP chief VD Sharma declared that anti-social elements would not be tolerated in the state. Late Wednesday, a clash between two groups in Maksi town, Shajapur district, escalated into stone pelting and firing, leaving one person dead and seven others injured.

Commenting on the incident, Sharma told ANI, 'Several anti-social forces are active in Madhya Pradesh, and with the Congress trying to provoke them, such incidents occur. However, the administration is vigilant. An attempt to disturb peace was made yesterday in Maksi, but the state government is responding promptly. The administration will take strict action against any anti-social elements trying to destabilize the state,' he stated.

Sharma emphasized, 'Anyone attempting to disrupt peace in Madhya Pradesh will face immediate action, regardless of who they are. The administration is committed to maintaining order.'
