Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday participated in a series of events as part of the 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' campaign at Soochna Bhawan. The campaign, hosted by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
During the event, Minister Vaishnaw administered an oath to officers and staff of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, urging them to promote cleanliness and sustainable practices within their areas of influence. The initiative underscores a commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
Additionally, Vaishnaw planted a sapling as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Ek Ped Maa ke Naam' plantation drive, emphasizing the dual goals of cleanliness and environmental conservation. He also distributed saplings to employees, reinforcing the message of individual responsibility towards the environment. Accompanying him were Minister of State L Murugan, Secretary Sanjay Jaju, and other senior officials.
