NICDC Logistics Data Services Ltd. (NLDSL) has announced the launch of the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP) Hackathon 2.0, aimed at fostering innovation and developing digital solutions to address pressing challenges within the logistics industry. The initiative was inaugurated at an event chaired by Shri Rajeev Singh Thakur, Additional Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), at Vanijya Bhawan.

The launch event attracted over 1,800 attendees, both physically and virtually, highlighting significant interest from the industry. Hackathon 2.0 builds upon the success of the inaugural ULIP Hackathon, which yielded cutting-edge solutions for various logistical challenges and invites developers, startups, and industry stakeholders to collaborate once more. This year’s focus includes critical issues such as sustainability, complex supply chain processes, unified documentation, and optimization of multimodal logistics.

During the launch, Shri Rajeev Singh Thakur expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We are excited to launch ULIP Hackathon 2.0, an initiative that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. With the tremendous success of Hackathon 1.0, we are confident that this year's event will generate even more innovative solutions to shape the future of India's logistics ecosystem.”

In addition to the hackathon, NLDSL unveiled the Track Your Transport (TYT) application, powered by ULIP. This user-friendly app aims to empower small-scale transporters and traders by addressing various aspects of logistics management, including cargo tracking across all transport modes and verification of vehicles and drivers. The TYT app eliminates the need for heavy IT infrastructure investments, making it a cost-effective solution for the unorganized sector.

Shri Rajat Kumar Saini, CEO & MD of NICDC and Chairman of NLDSL, emphasized the significance of the TYT app in promoting digital empowerment among small traders and transporters. He remarked, “The app provides the tools necessary to enhance operational efficiency and visibility, ensuring that small players can compete on a level playing field with the rest of the industry.”

The Track Your Transport app is accessible via the web at www.trackyourtransport.in and can be downloaded from Android, iOS, and Digital India App Stores.
