Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed skepticism about the motivations behind China and Brazil's initiatives to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, he argued that such efforts undermine Ukraine's interests and provide Russian President Vladimir Putin with more political latitude to continue the war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed skepticism regarding the 'true interest' behind China and Brazil's push to end Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine. Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, he firmly stated, 'You will not boost your power at Ukraine's expense.'
'When some propose alternatives, half-hearted settlement plans, so-called sets of principles, it not only ignores the interests and suffering of Ukrainians ... it not only ignores reality, but also gives (Russian President Vladimir) Putin the political space to continue the war,' Zelenskiy told the 193-member body.
