Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari on Tuesday pressed Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to tackle rising crimes against women in the state. With hands folded, he expressed readiness to cooperate in ensuring women's safety. Addressing reporters in Jabalpur, he cited eight rape incidents reported in the past 24 hours.

Patwari revealed that these incidents included cases involving minors and gang raids, urging the state government for immediate action. He earnestly appealed to CM Yadav for the safety of women, stating, "I am ready to cooperate in any way you require; just ensure women's safety in the state." Patwari also took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led state government, claiming widespread public discontent.

"The state's BJP government has failed to deliver on its promises in the last nine months," Patwari criticized, citing unfulfilled financial aid and agricultural support. He accused the government of incurring debts and diverting funds for events, while farmers and the public remain burdened with loans and unemployment.
