NCLT Issues Notice to SpiceJet Amid Intensifying Insolvency Pleas
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) issued a notice to debt-ridden airline SpiceJet following a petition by its operational creditor, Techjockey Infotech Pvt Ltd. SpiceJet is currently facing multiple insolvency petitions. Recently, it raised Rs 3,000 crore to settle creditors' liabilities and statutory dues.

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has issued a notice to struggling air carrier SpiceJet following a plea filed by an operational creditor, Techjockey Infotech Pvt Ltd.
The two-member NCLT bench instructed SpiceJet to reply and set the next hearing for November 14. This adds to the airline's ongoing battle with several insolvency petitions.
Despite raising Rs 3,000 crore through a sale of shares, primarily to settle creditors' liabilities, SpiceJet continues to face financial adversity.
