Rajasthan Government Orders Major Reshuffle of IAS and IPS Officers
The Rajasthan government has enacted a significant administrative reshuffle, reassigning 22 IAS and 58 IPS officers. Highlighted changes include additional charges for key positions in Rural Agriculture, Tourism, and Minority Affairs. Several police officers have been reassigned to new roles, indicating a strategic shift in state administration.

In a significant administrative shakeup, the Rajasthan government ordered the transfer and reassignment of 22 IAS and 58 IPS officers late Sunday evening. The government issued two separate lists detailing the new assignments and additional charges.
Among the key changes, IAS Hemant Gera has been assigned the additional role of Chairman of the Rural Agricultural Development Agency (RUDRA). IAS Ravi Jain is now the Chairman of the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation, while IAS H. Guite takes on the additional role as Director of the Minority Affairs Department in Jaipur.
Further appointments include Mahendra Khadgawat as the collector of Beawar and Bhawani Singh Detha moving from the Revenue Board in Ajmer to principal secretary of the Ayurved department. IAS Dr. T. Shubhamangala will also take on the additional role as Commissioner of North Municipal Corporation of Jodhpur.
The Rajasthan Police Department also witnessed a major shakeup. Govind Gupta has been appointed DG Jail, transitioning from his current role as ADG Police Planning. Preeti Chandra, previously the additional commissioner for traffic and administration, has been transferred to the training division at PHQ. DIG Yogesh Dadhich will now manage traffic and administration.
Additionally, Narendra Singh and Dharmendra Singh have been appointed as superintendents of police for Alwar and GRP Ajmer, respectively. Four IPS officers have been allocated additional charges alongside their current responsibilities. (ANI)
