Chief Minister Manik Saha has commended the citizens of Tripura for participating in the BJP membership drive, encouraging more to join the mission. Taking to microblogging site X on Sunday, Saha announced, 'Tripura joins the nationwide wave! Over 400,000 citizens have joined the @BJP4India family since Sept 3, propelling our membership drive to unprecedented levels. Today, we reached out to the public, urging all to be part of our mission. Let's make it even bigger!'
On September 20, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal addressed multiple meetings in Dhemaji and Lakhimpur as the BJP's Membership Drive gained momentum in the North Bank region. Hundreds responded positively, joining the party during the daylong campaign led by the senior BJP leader. Sonowal called on the public to follow the 'Sewa' pathway—a societal service vision espoused by PM Narendra Modi when he took office in 2014.
Speaking at a membership campaign, Union Minister Sonowal reiterated the importance of the BJP's membership drive, describing it as a celebration for all. 'We have become members to serve our motherland,' he said. 'We must strive forward and strengthen our society. A strong society will lead to a strong country. Under the guidance of our dynamic leader Narendra Modi, who presented himself as the 'Pradhan Sewak' of the nation, we must embrace this roadmap while working towards building our Atmanirbhar Bharat. We must bring everyone along, earn their trust and love, and pay respect to all as we join hands in this journey to build a new Bharat,' Sonowal emphasized.
