Senior IPS officer Alok Ranjan has been appointed as the new chief of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), according to an official order issued on Saturday.
Ranjan, who belongs to the 1991-batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, has been named Director of the NCRB.
He will hold the position until his superannuation on June 30, 2026, the order stated. (ANI)
