Nayara Energy Boosts Domestic Fuel Sales Amid Declining Exports
Nayara Energy, India’s largest private fuel retailer, witnessed a 14.3% rise in fuel sales for the second quarter of 2024. However, exports decreased due to rising local demand. The company has strategically expanded its retail network, particularly in underserved Indian markets, enhancing domestic sales and contributing significantly to India's energy security.

Nayara Energy, India's leading private fuel retailer, reported a 14.3% increase in fuel sales for the second quarter of 2024, driven by rising local demand. Meanwhile, exports saw a decline as the firm prioritized domestic needs.
In the April-June quarter, Nayara Energy sold 75% of its diesel and 60% of its petrol production locally, leveraging its expansive retail network. The company's domestic focus has strengthened its presence in underserved markets, contributing to India's economic growth.
Retail diesel sales rose by 14% to 2.08 million tonnes, while petrol sales increased by 14.7% to 0.916 million tonnes compared to the previous year's figures. With over 6,500 petrol pumps across India, the firm's network is highly automated, boosting mobility and connectivity.
