Three people have lost their lives while six others remain trapped after a building collapsed on Saturday, District Magistrate Deepak Meena reported. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams are conducting rescue operations despite persistent rainfall in the area.

Deepak Meena confirmed to reporters, 'Initially, 14 people were trapped; eight have been rescued, including three who have died. Our immediate priority is to rescue the remaining six individuals.'

Flooding in 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh has worsened the situation. According to the office of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 17 people have died due to floods. The government has provided relief funds to the affected families and continues to offer assistance as the crisis unfolds.
