Telangana CM Proposes Transgender Traffic Regulation Initiative
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has proposed engaging transgender individuals to assist in regulating traffic within Hyderabad. This initiative aims to assign similar duties currently performed by Home Guards, offering stipends and special training to interested participants. Special uniforms will also be provided to transgenders on duty.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday proposed a groundbreaking initiative to engage transgender individuals in regulating traffic within Hyderabad city.
During a review meeting on urban development and roadway maintenance, Reddy suggested assigning these traffic duties to transgenders, similar to roles currently performed by Home Guards.
The Chief Minister emphasized that interested transgenders will receive stipends, special training, and dedicated uniforms. He directed officials to collect details of willing participants and ensure they are adequately prepared for their roles.
