Kulwant Singh Appointed as Executive Director of IBBI

Kulwant Singh, a 1999 batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service, has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI). With over 25 years of experience, Singh has held various key audit positions both within India and internationally.

Kulwant Singh, a distinguished officer from the 1999 batch of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service, has officially assumed the role of Executive Director at the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), as per an official release.

Singh previously served as the Director General of Audit for the East Coast Railway. His extensive career also includes notable positions such as Principal Director of Audit at the Indian Embassy in Washington DC and Director of Audit at the Indian High Commission in London.

According to an IBBI release dated September 11, 2024, Singh took charge on September 11, 2024. He holds a law degree and has over 25 years of service in various roles within the office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
