Chhattisgarh CM Flags Off 'Panchteerth' Pilgrimage for BJP Workers

In a significant and historic move, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday flagged off buses carrying BJP workers for the 'Panchteerth' pilgrimage. The CM was joined by state assembly speaker Raman Singh during the inaugural event.
The Yatra is set to cover six sacred pilgrimages, including notable sites such as Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and Maihar Mata. Speaking to ANI, CM Sai noted, 'Today, 600 pilgrims have embarked on the Panchteerth yatra. We are here to wish them well. After six days of the journey, the workers will return.'
Assembly Speaker Raman Singh highlighted the scale and significance of this initiative, mentioning, 'This marks the first instance of such a large number of party workers participating in a pilgrimage to pray for the growth and development of Chhattisgarh. This unique decision is unprecedented in any Vidhan Sabha.'
