In the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, BJP candidate Captain Yogesh Bairagi from Julana expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the senior party leadership for their trust in him. On September 6, Olympian Vinesh Phogat joined the Congress. 'I want to express my gratitude to the senior leadership of the party for showing trust in me,' Bairagi stated. He added, 'The Congress candidate (Vinesh Phogat) is also like our sister and made the country proud during her career. We will work hard to ensure BJP's victory. I appeal to the people of my constituency to place their trust in me. My model of governance will focus on development.'

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday released its second list of 21 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. According to the list, Captain Yogesh Bairagi has been fielded against Congress candidate Vinesh Phogat in the Julana constituency.
