National Congress Party (NCP) MLA Jayant Patil on Tuesday claimed that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is significantly influenced by his consultants. Speaking at a press conference, Patil alleged that Pawar is no longer in control of his public statements, which are now crafted by hired consultants.
Patil stated, 'Ajit Pawar is not the same anymore. He has hired consultants to dictate his speeches in front of the media, and they have been given considerable responsibility and funding.' According to Patil, these consultants are behind the extensive branding work seen recently.
Pawar recently addressed reports of a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss seat-sharing for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha election. He refuted these claims, stating their discussion focused solely on agricultural issues, such as concerns over cotton and soybean crops. Pawar also clarified he has never expressed a desire to contest elections alone.
