Manipur's higher and technical education department has mandated the closure of all government, aided, and private colleges through September 12. An official order signed by Laishram Dolie Devi, Joint Secretary, confirmed that the institutions will remain closed on September 11 and 12.

Meanwhile, joint security forces conducted a flag march in violence-affected areas of Kakching's Sugnu. In response to unrest, the state has banned internet services starting Tuesday to prevent the spread of disinformation on social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The ban will remain in effect until September 15.

Inspector General of Police for Operations IK Muviah stated that evidence from a drone bombing case would be handed over to national investigative agencies for a higher-level probe. 'We are collecting various pieces of evidence. Most likely, we will be handing over these kinds of important cases to the national investigative agencies,' Muviah said.

Late last week, the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and other security forces executed joint operations across multiple Manipur districts. These efforts resulted in the seizure of considerable quantities of arms and ammunition. Specific intelligence prompted search operations in Churachandpur District, leading to the discovery of hidden weapon caches.
