Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 10 (ANI): A Nigerian national has been deported by Hyderabad police for overstaying in India and allegedly engaging in illegal activities. Identified as Ikeji Innocent Nduka, the Nigerian arrived in Mumbai on a tourist visa in 2009.
Initially involved in the scarf business in Gujarat and later selling T-shirts in Tamil Nadu, he moved to Bengaluru in 2014 before arriving in Hyderabad in May 2024. Upon his apprehension in Panjagutta, it was discovered that he was living in India using fake and fabricated identities after his visa and passport had expired.
Legal measures including a Movement Restriction Order and an Emergency Travel document were secured to facilitate his deportation. Hyderabad police highlighted a trend of foreigners overstaying their visas and engaging in illegal activities, advising parents to monitor their children to prevent drug-related issues.
