Three Arrested in Nalasopara for Alleged Sexual Assault of Woman

Three men have been arrested in the Nalasopara area of Palghar district for allegedly sexually assaulting a 30-year-old woman, police officials confirmed. The accused, identified as Narendra Morya (31), Prakash Singh (26), and Panchraj Singh (35), were detained following a police investigation.

The suspects were produced in court, which issued a directive placing them in police custody for five days. The case was registered by the Achole police based on the woman's complaint, invoking sections 64, 70(1), and 351(2) of the BNS.

Police officials from Achole Police Station said, "A case of gang rape has come to light in the Nalasopara area of Palghar district. Based on the woman's complaint, a case was registered against three individuals and they were subsequently arrested. Further details are awaited."
