The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has sanctioned the appointment of six senior advocates as Additional Solicitor General (ASG) in the Supreme Court of India. This decision marks a significant addition to the government's legal team.

The appointed individuals—Senior Advocates S. Dwarakanath, Ms. Archana Pathak Dave, Satya Darshi Sanjay, Brijender Chahar, Raghavendra P. Shankar, and Rajkumar Bhaskar Thakare (Raja Thakare)—will serve a three-year term from the date they assume office. These advocates have a distinguished track record, often engaging in high-profile cases in the Supreme Court.
